7th CPC Pay Matrix
7th Pay Commission introduced the pay matrix table to incorporate all these features: subsuming the grade pay, the rationalized matrix presents the whole universe of pay levels in one simple chart. The levels have been rationalized too, displaying a logical pay progression. Employees would be able to see their pay level, where they fit in, and how they are likely to progress over their career span.

What is Pay Matrix?
Pay Matrix introduced during 7th Pay Commission. The pay matrix comprises two dimensions. It has a “horizontal range” in which each level corresponds to a ‘functional role in the hierarchy’ and has been assigned the numbers 1, 2, and 3 and so on till 18. The “vertical range” for each level denotes ‘pay progression’ within that level.
What is the salary of pay level 1?
As per the 7th pay commission pay matrix, a Level-1 employee will get a salary from Rs 18,000 to Rs 56,900 per month. Employees will get an initial monthly salary of Rs 18,000 plus other allowances like Dearness Allowance (DA), TA, HRA, etc

As per the 7th pay commission pay matrix, a Level-2 employee will get a salary from Rs 19,900 to Rs 63,200 per month. Employees will get an initial monthly salary of Rs 19,900 plus other allowances like Dearness Allowance (DA), TA, HRA, etc

As per the 7th pay commission pay matrix, a Level-4 employee will get a salary from Rs 25,500 to Rs 81,100 per month. Employees will get an initial monthly salary of Rs 25,500 plus other allowances like Dearness Allowance (DA), TA, HRA, etc

As per the 7th pay commission pay matrix, a Level-5 employee will get a salary from Rs 29,200 to Rs 92,300 per month. Employees will get an initial monthly salary of Rs 25,500 plus other allowances like Dearness Allowance (DA), TA, HRA, etc

My increement is january 2019 nd I get promotion on 5th january on next scale whether my basic will be fixed as per new scale 134500 to 144200 or i get one increement later on in july . My basic will be fixed 144200 nd i get increement in july or i will not get the incteement . I am going to tetire in dec 2019.

I am not aware of shifting of promotion financial benefit to date of accrual increment accordingly i have not availed the extra benefit
Now I want to avail the same after implementation of 7th cpc or revised salary comes in to effect on or after 1st Jan 2017 . Please help me if possible

Is is possible that a retiree of pay matrix level 12 (12) who has retired in 2002 on refixation of pension first under 6cpc and then under 7cpc is fixed pension under level 13 of pay matrix ie given pay grade of 8700/- where as he has retired in level corresponding to pay grade 7600/-on face value it appears wrong Is it correct of fraud pl answer

I have joined on 10.2.1992 as LDC. I have got Grade Pay Rs. 2400 on 10.2.2004. I have offered promotion as UDC on Dec-2011 but not accepted and debarred for one year. I have again offered promotion as UDC in the year 2014 bur not accepted and debarred for one year. Now I have accepted promotion as UDC during 2018. Sir, please tell me when will get IInd MACP and IIIrd MACP
MACP is not affected by refusal of promotion, on every 10 year gap has to be granted.
