  1. I drawing basic pension of Rs 3277/- and DR on notional pay Rs 7215/- ie 125% as on 1.1.16.I am a pensioner who was absorbed in PSU and have taken one lumpsum payment.I am getting 1/3 rd restored pension as per govt decision. What will be my basic pension as per 7th CPC.

  2. Grade pay for employees in pay scale of 6500-10500/9300-34800 was 4600 but calculator is showing grade pay 4200. Pl look in to it.

  3. Sir,it is seen from the matrix chart in level 12 with grade pay as7600.The multiplying factor is 2.67 whereas in calcutor it is 2.57.Needs clarification.

  4. Sir in leve 12 with grade pay as7600 the multiplying factor as shown is 2.67. where as in calcutor it is 2.57.Need clarification. Also amendment in calcutor. Thanks

  5. IOR should be applied as recmended by the 7CPC & approved by the government vide resolution dt.16/05/2017.(referrence pay matrix table).
Then notionally arrive the pay to sancyion the revised pension.

  6. The pension calculator wthout grade pay seems to be incomplete. This needs to be done before its finalisation.

  7. The Pay scales in 4th CPC needs to be re-examined. The pay scale of Rs. 1400-40-1800-50-2300 [Earlier TBOP/LSG] was replaced in 5th CPC by scale of Rs. 4500-125-7000 and in 6th CPC by PB-1 5200-20200+Grade Pay Rs. 2800/- . However while calculating pension for the scale 1400-40-1800-50-2300 the replaced scale in 6th CPC is showing Rs. 9300-34800 + 4200. Kindly reconfirm.

  8. Sir,Thank you very much for furnishing the calculator to reason out the exact position of pensions.Regards.

  9. I ha retired on 30/6/2012 with basic pension of 13230.00. My drawing pension as on 1/1/2016 is 30268.00 What will be my pension according VII PAY commission.

  10. The Principle of Full Parity accepted by the Gov’t., now supposed to have been achieved through their latest letter of 12.5.2017, implies that a pre-2016 pensioner should get the same pension as if he were to retire after working in 7th CPC Matrix Scales in the posts he worked and retired.
I retired in 1988(4th CPC), after putting in over 17 years service in Survey of India, in a post equivalent to SE, CPWD(Matrix Level 13) and higher, which should rightfully entitle me under Option 1 to pension of over Rs.1,00.000. But my entitlement as per Pension Caculator shows Rs.61, 550.
Pensioners have been completely let down. PM should be apprised of this Gross Injustice to the community of pensioners and Optio 1 restored. Otherwise, the matter has to be taken to court.

  11. Scale of RS. 7300-7600 corresponds to Pay Band 15 and not Pay Band 14 as shown by your calculator. Please confirm /correct

  12. Final result of Family pension differs from the Calculated Family pension shown abovew the final results. this needs to be corrected. i calculated for my s-13 scale, DOR 31-8-2000; LPD 11725, 5th CPC. correct result for family pension is 20400 and rightly shown in the PAY FIXED format, but shown as 20437 in the FINAL RESULTS. pls debug.

  13. I have checked my revised pension fixation and the results tally with those of calculator. Thanks a lot for putting up the calculator.

  14. It’s reported that an Employee appointed on the AN of 31-12-1976 in a post equivalent to pre-revised pay scale i.e. as on 1-1-2006 in PB 2 with PB Rs.4800/- (Notional) retired on the AN of 31-08-2010 after getting three promotions. His last basic Pay plus Grade Pay of Rs.6600/- was Rs.34,150/ as on 31-08-2010- on the date of retirement. Had he continued in the lower post as per fitment table approved in the Matrix, on the same date i.e. 31-08-2010, (after put in 33 years of Service, his Pay as per Matrix) will be fixed at Rs. 1,22,900/- but for his promotion(s). Hence he is entitled to fix his pay at Rs.1,22,900/- as Basic Pay in the lower post The same employee even after getting three promotions, his pay was fixed only at Rs.88,400/- as per Matrix approved for PB3 with GP 6600/- as on 31-08-2010. thus depriving him a difference in basic Pay LESSER to the tune of Rs.34,500/- which means had he not promoted, he would have got fixed his Basic Pay at Rs.1,22,900/- but for his promotion(s) consequently he is entitled to a basic Pension of Rs.66,450/- whereas in spite of his three promotion, his basic Pay in the higher post will be only Rs.88,400/- and entitled to a LESSER basic Pension of Rs.44,200/- The person who got promoted to Higher Post will be getting lesser basic Pay & less basic Pension while the same individual continued in the LOWER post for 33 years, he would have got his Pay fixed at higher Level i.e. Rs.1,22,900/- as per Matrix now approved . The anomaly Committee should look into this aspect & allow higher basic Pay & Pension to the affected to step up their basic Pay & Pension as per Pay Matrix now approved. To give true life to Matrix, to rectify anomaly, Standing Committee should consider this suggestion seriously with option to the affected both in Service & those who Retired to get their legitimate benefits

  15. Sir I retired from service on 30.6.2015 after completing 42 years of service I could not get increment on 1.7.2015 I received increment for 5 years in grade pay 4600 I feel pension fixed is less than my juniors in the revised 7 the CPC I request remedy

  16. government has not failed in its promise of providing fair deal in fixing pensions of pre2016. this announcement cannot take such along time keeping employees on tenter hooks. Now the authority is whether the pension paying authority like bank or post office can directly calculate and pay including arrears from 1-1-2016 or wait for the ;pay accounting office to issue revised memo for pension. any one in knowledge?

  17. Pension calculated using option-3 seems to be flawed. Check for example for a scale of S-27 in cpc 5, with a basic pay of 19550 or 16400 the pension comes out to be same !!! There is no advantage of the 7 increments for the first case !!!!!
