  2. I M A CENTRAL GOVT EMPLOYEES. I AM SELECTED THROUGH LIMIT DEPARTMENTAL EXAMINITION. HEIGHER RANK & PAY SCALE OF THE PREVIOUS RANK? BUT MY BASIC PAY IS ALSO INCREASE TO THE HEIGHER ARCHIEVE RANK? THEN HOW TO FIX MY BASIC PAY IN THE NEXT HEIGHER POST? EX-PAY BAND(5200-20200)GRADE PAY-2400 BUT BASIC PAY IS 9310/-
    BUT HIGHER PAY BAND IS (9300-34800)GRADE PAY-4200/-?

  3. Sir, I am working in a Centl Govt department (BR0) since 2003. My department has been placed a ban for outside employment/deputation/inter departmental transfer since 2008 for subordinates staff only. I was applied directly for the post of DFO in cabinet secretariat during Apr 2010 without intimate to my parent department(BRO) as NOC cannot obtain form BRO due to ban for outside employment. And the same could not intimate to Cabinet secretariate at the time of interview. Now my character/antecedents verification is over at home on 23 Nov 2011 and they are intimated me to inform all the details of present employment and accordingly I was intimated all my employment details to Section Officer, Cabinet secretariate on 10 Jan 2012.
    Sir I was applied directly because if I selected for the post I can technically resigned from my present service without claiming any retirement benefits from my present department as the department already placed a ban for outside employment.
    Sir, please intimate any orders/provisions to get all retirement benefits like counting of past service etc.. form my present department (BRO), if I selected for the post of DFO in Cabinet secratariate. Pls give me a reply.

  6. i was working in grade 5000-8000 in 2005 & promoted in gd 5500-9000 in march 2006, after passing selection.i became senior to almost 10 persons, who were though senior to me but could not pass the selection. in 6th pay commission w.e.f 1/1/2006(notified in 2008) both the above grades have been merged. what will be the status of our seniority. who will be senior now.selection process was started in 2005 & posting of qualified employee was done in Mar 2006 against the existing posts of 2005. Please reply.

  7. Is there any provision to get job placement in govt organisation for childrens of retired govt servant who was retired from such govt organisation on his superannuaton or voluntarily if said children’s are educated like BSc/MSc/post graduate ?

  8. Govt employee could not purchase any flat/room/house due to his poor or unavoidable financial circumstances up to his superannuation. Is there any govt financial schemes/provisions for such type of govt employee to stay after retirement instead of native place? either in the form of govt accomodation or home loan or any other system?

    My friend is going to retire on his superannuation June 2012. Presently he is under prolonged treatment from govt hospital hence he is getting reimbursement of expenditure regarding medicines prescribed by govt hospital.Whether he will get reimbursement of medicines after retirement if he will stay at native place were such govt hospital is not available? what are the facilities/regulation/norms regarding the same?

I have joined in ESIC as Staff Nurse on 2002.As per the pay commission recommendations, my salary has been fixed to the level of entry level Nurses.Any orders available which would help us for demand of revised pay fixation,as per the revised recommendations staff nurses having the basic of 5000-8000 are eligible for the next revised scale..ie..7450-11500.But in ESIC my pay is fixed in the scale of entry level nurses.actually my pay is fixed as below.7450* 1.86(pay factor)=13860.Instead it is fixed as 12540.A difference of 1320 is there in Basic Salary.This is a big anomaly.Please commend on this.

  12. Some one has joined central govt service before 30 years that time was not submitted certificates. Only forms were filled. Recently after some moths he is going to retire from service on superannuation. Earliest he understood that his date of birth was mentioned wrong in office records whereas his printed date of birth on SSC mark list and certificates is different. Can necessary correction may be done by employer in his office record to avoid inconvenience?
    What are the rules and regulation/norms regarding the same? Kindly specify to email

    my basic pay is 19210 and DA is 58% of basic. pls also tell me method of calculation

Sir, I need to know that if a person ger selected in higher cader in the same department, in the same institution, on direct recuritment post does in that case also he needs to give technical resignation from previous post. Can he directly say I was working as so and so. Now got selected in the same departmnet on higher post by UPSC under direct recuritment, kindly accept my joining.

  15. Retired from service during Mar 09. Understand that revised orders reg. calculation of OT allowance based on new pay have been issued during early May 11. If so what is the formula for ministerial staff (Stenographers)working in industrial establishments. Please clarify.

  16. My husband is a central government servant and i am working in a autonomous organisation under the Min of Finance. Central Government Organisation has got LTC and I have got Leave Fare Concession , which is entirely different from LTc rules. LFC is for a period of 2 years whereas LTC is for 4 years. My spouse organisation denies usage of both the schemes to different sectors on different dates/year. whereas the LTC rules , to my knowledge, does not say so. kindly clarify on the same. also would like to quote the rule stating either.

    I joined Govt service as Class I officer in the year June 1986 (Pre revised scale 8000 – 13500) and I got first promotion in the year Jan 1992 (Pre revised scale 10000-15200). After that I submitted technical resignation and joined the same department in next higher grade (Pre revised scale 12000 – 16500) in the year Oct 1994 in different cadre. I got next promotion in the year May 2000 (Pre revised scale 14300 – 18300, Now revised scale 37400 – 67000 with grade Pay 8700/-). I am in the same post for the last 10 year 10 months and so far not got the Promotion due to flaws in the Existing RRs and they have been submitted to DoPT for approval of amendments, which is awaited. I am officiating the duties of next higher post for the last 5 years i.e. Payscale 37400 – 67000 grade pay 8900/-. Can you please inform me whether I am eligible for Modified Assured Career Progression scheme. Also clarify how can I get my promotion.
