That’s a nice gesture of Government of India for simplification of pension procedure to AIS officers and staffs. I am afraid that this facility will not be applicable for Geological Survey of India, Lucknow for Survey workers. The government orders which are applicable to all government employees is not applicable to GSI, Lucknow office. Biassed mindset of the controlling authorities do not allow follow up of government order as the same is applicable to other offices. Even GSI, NRO is not ready to follow up as it has been followed at all the other GSI offices in India. GSI, CHq, prefer silence about this gross injustice. Revision of pension to Survey workers though have been given at all the offices of GSI, but GSI, Lucknow is not ready to give it at par of other GSI offices. Many PG Portal registered grievances, interventions of external high authorities and RTI query have failed to draw a justified result. May god save us from further harassment and humiliation.
I am an employee of a PSU in Gadhinagar Gujarat.
According to census 2011 data, now Ahmedabad (UA) has been classified as “X” type city and now eligible for 30% HRA.
Since Ahmedabad(UA) consists of Gandhinagar(Notified Area), my question is whether gandhinagar will also be eligible for 30% HRA or not ? please assist me.
Mr Hitesh, Classfication of HRA is as per classification of cities; not as per classification of district . Therefore Gandhi Nagar will treated as base for entitlement of HRA, instead of Ahmedabad.
Further in my opinion cities does not include another city. It may happen that
In some cases name of distt and city might be same. For HRA city is considered and if UA is written then only urban part is considered and not village part. For this limits of UA means limits of municipal corporation which says it urban part only.
Am centeal government employ, my question is , if i will not take government accommodation bt more than staff government accommodation are available in statistation HRA aadmissible to me or not
Has greater NOIDA been included in Delhi UA for X classification for the purpose of HRA .for Central Govt employees
What stands for UA
is it Urban Area
or
is Urban anglomerate
Agartala is capital of Tripura but it is not classified city, then it may come under Z class category. is not it? Then HRA allowed for persons posted in Agartala is of Z class cities..
at present what is the hra in lucknow for central gov?
WHAT IS THE H.R.A.IN PUNE
I joined at sdi hilsa, nalanda (bihar) on 16.06.2014 on transfer from ipo legal cell, patna (bihar). I was getting HRA at patna (as per Y city) @20% of B.P & G.P. (B.P.Rs.16350/-G.P.Rs.4200/-). Hilsa comes in Z city whereat HRA is allowable @ 10%. I have not shifted my family at Hilsa due to education of children’s. At hilsa I am also residing on rent and paying rent @ 3500/- per month. The said facts have already been given by me in writing to DDO, bihar sarif (nalanda). . Kindly let me know that whether HRA @ 20% would be allow to me for the period of 16.06.2014 to 31.12.2014 or otherwise

Kindly let me know that whether HRA @ 20% would be allow to me for the period of 16.09.2013 to 31.03.2014 or 15.01.2014 or otherwise
As per HRA rules of Central Govt Employees, HRA is payable as per Place of Posting. So you should be paid HRA for Bhilwara i.e. Z-class. During the shifting period of family for few months just after transfer, the HRA is payable corresponding to previous place of posting i.e. @20% in your case.
i am a central Govt. employee and haing been permanently transferred from itarsi to Amethi.Ihae surrendered my qtr at old stn and presently staying in a qtr which has been designated as temporary accommodation for personnel arriving on transfer and 3/4 employees staying in that accmn. Iam not being given HRA even after repeated request for grant of HRA. PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHETHER I AM ELIGIBLE FOR HRA.
The central govt employees who are posted in Faridabad are getting HRA equal to Delhi rates (instead of Faridabad rates) as per Special dispensation Rule issued by ministry of finance in 1974. My question is that after transfer to any other place from Faridabad and opting to retain family at Faridabad, whether HRA will be admissible equal to Delhi rates (X-category) or equal to Faridabad rates (Y-category) ?
Sir
