This Govt including Min of Def have mixed the OROP and 7th CPC for defence personnel. Everything has been mingled up. Now it is very difficult for a common soldier/ex-serviceman to know his actual entitlement. Now it is at the discretion of the paying author to fix anybody’s pay or pension as per his own knowledge about the rules. Otherwise you keep on writing to the authorities concerned, no one bothers to reply.
