Gramin Dak Sevaks Indefinite strike from 22-05-2018 onwards
Two Lakh Sixty Three Thousand Gramain Dak Sevaks in the Department of posts will go on indefinite strike from 22-05-2018 under the guidance of GDS JCA headed by S.S. Mahadevaiah General Secretary, AIGDSU, Com. Murlidharan, General Secretary, NUGDS and Com. P.Panduranga Rao, General Secretary, AIPEU-GDS demanding for an early implementation of positive recommendations of Kamalesh Chandra Committee.

One Lakh Thirthy three thousand post offices in rural area is going to be closed said S.S. Mahadevaiah, Departmental unions NFPE and FNPO also extended their support and solidarity to indefinite strike.
