Sub: Supply of Fake Currency Detecting Machine to Post Offices.
Sir,
As you are aware that the Government of India has stopped transaction of Denomination of Rs.500 and Rs.1000 Currency Notes and ordered to deposit these in the Banks and Post Offices .There is every possibility that fake currency may be deposited in Post Offices and due to heavy rush it will not be possible to detect the same by employees.
It is therefore, requested to kindly cause suitable action to provide Fake Currency detecting Machines to Post Offices so that the poor Postal Employees may be safeguarded from the loss.
