DA Calculation Sheet: The DA for Central Government Employees was earlier calculated based on the consumer price index with the base year 2001. The Central Government replaced it with a new consumer price index with the base year 2016 to calculate the DA from September 2020.

DA for second half of the year is 7% definite.
l hope da from july 2014 may be 7% but what about 50%marge of da
6th pay commision has to resolve anomali in 46100 -PB4 SCALE .
If price level goes in the upward revision like this even Rs. 100/ per day is not enough to purchase vegetables for a small family of 4 members.
7% DA is definite.when will 50% of da be merged into basic pension

Now it is cent percent sure that we are going to get 107% DA w.e.f. 1.7.2014 for CG employees and pensioners.

This site is much cooperative to us. and now we know that May 2014 inflation figure came 6.01% previous month figure was 5.28. Let me know that DA should be at least 7% on 1.7.2014. It is expected and final figure will come on evening of 31.7.2014.
