OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject:- Revision in the rates of Family Planning Allowance for adoption of small family norms following the recommendations of the Sixth Central Pay Commission.

Consequent upon the implementation of the revised pay structure by the Government with effect from 1st January, 2006 on the basis of recommendations of the Sixth Central Pay Commission and in partial modification of this Ministry’s O.M. No.6(39)/98-IC.II dated 6th July, 1999, the President is pleased to sanction the revised Family Planning Allowance at double the existing amount of the Family Planning Allowance, subject to a minimum of Rs.210/- per month as indicated in Column 7 of Annexure to this Office Memorandum.
2. The allowance will be related to the Grade Pay corresponding to the post against which the employee concerned had initially earned or will earn the Family Planning Allowance. All other terms and conditions governing the grant of Family Planning Allowance shall remain unchanged.
3. These orders will be effective from 1st September, 2008.
4. In so far as persons serving in the Indian Audit and Accounts Department are concerned, these orders issue after consultation with the Comptroller and Auditor General of India.

I turned 40 yrs on 02.10.1974 and having only one child , whether after applying for family planning allowance now I will be able to get my full amount from the date when I became 40 yrs I.e. on 2nd Oct 2014. Iam working as a asst. teacher in up govt basic education junior high school.
can pp for small family can be incorporated in cffeteria allowences?

I am going to do Vasecomt operation in july 2012 and my grade pay 5400 and scale 9300-34800, What amount will i getas personnal pay monthly?
Is there any differnt policy implement in u.p for FPA particularliy in case of twins in second delivery
Dear/Sir/madam
I am a central govt.employee.My wife has undergone family planning operation on Jan 2008. At that time my pay scale was 6500-200-10,500 and I have got FPA of ` 200 as per 5th pay CPC from Jan 2008 to Sept 2008.
As per 6th CPC order my pay become PB2 9300 – 34800 GP 4600 from Jan 2006. As per order FPA No. 7(20)/2008-E.III (A) Dated 24rd September, 2008. The allowance will be related to the Grade Pay corresponding to the post against which the employee concerned had initially earned or will earn the Family Planning Allowance. .as per this order for me it should be ` 450. but my office is double the old rate and fixed ` 400 only As per order sl. 2 it should be `450 (my pay as on Jan 2006 it self pb 2 GP 4600) present I am Drawing FPA Rs 400. Please clarify,
I am Professor in Agriculture University. I want to know about the family planning increment in Sixth pay commission. Is there any different policy implemented by Uttar Pradesh Government. Please send detail about slabs for revised pay scale of 15600-39100 (pay bend -III).

Sterilisation was done on 1.5.2006. Now what is the increment have to be given? Whether Old increment of rupees 150 or the present increment of 3%???.and old scale of pay 5000-150-8000, new pay band 9300-34800
