When it has unanimously been decided by IBA authority and bank representatives that new system of DA calculation would be made by merging of 100% DA with the basic of all the employees including the retirees issespective of their date of retirement , on the basis of All India Consumer price Index of -2016 after implementation of 12th Bipartite Settlement in order to make uniform DA in banking industry, then why the question of calculation of DA on slab system on the base period of AICPIN -1960 is being raised at this stage ?
