I am central govt employee, I want to know which option is beneficial for me. option 1 or option 2. My pay as on 1.1.2o16 (20,000+4600) total Basic pay Rs. 24600, Date of promotion 13.4.2016 in Grade Pay Rs. 5400 (PB-3). Date of taking over charge of new Post 6-6-16. Opted to fix pay after AI as on 1-7-2016 (According to 6th CPC). Deptt fixed my pay wef 6-6-16 Rs. 21500 +5400 total basic pay 26,900. Please advice which option is beneficial in my case to switch over in pay matrix 7th CPC and what will be the date of next increment.

my detail-
basic+gp 10840 on 01-jan-2016 and 11170 on 01-07-2016 according to 6 cpc (Gp 2400/-)
so is it beneficial to choose revise pay form next increment date i.e. 01-july-2016.
if i choose revise pay from next Increment date ( 1-july-2016) in Normal Conditions then what will next increment date 01-jan-2017 or 01-july-2017.
i am due for MACP on 25 th january 2016 and it is under process. what is best option for me, to go for option I or option II for fixation of pay.
