Sri.Sathyanarana, By now u mite be aware that the meeting was held y’day and as expected, the chairman has insisted that 5cpc model of fixation would be the preferred one and the staff side has insisted on the 7cpc rec itself, but later the staff side has suggested that 3 options could be left to the pensioners to chose the one advantageous to them. One would be the present option 2, i.e., the mf 2.57, second, the 7cpc option 1, and the third to follow the 5cpc model and the meeting with the staff side is over and we have to wait for the final outcome.
Mr Ramooji,
The meeting scheduled for 13th October, was postponed to 17th. Let us wait whether it will take place or otherwise !!!
Sathyanarayana, that report on the outcome of the meeting on 6/10 is already available. It is now appearing that the Chairman of the committee is of the opinion that the 7cpc rec pertaining to option 1 is difficult to implement due to the records problem and hence, the methodology adopted for pre1986 pensioners would be recommencded where notional fixation was given for pre 1986 pensioners to bring them upto 1.1.86. This method would give benefit far less than that anticipated in the the 7cpc rec, option 1. However, another meeting was supposed to have taken place on the 13th, the details of which are still awaited
Sir,
The meeting of the Committee to study the feasibility of implementation of OPTION–I of CPC recommendation in respect of pre-2016 pensioners might have taken place yesterday, that is, on 6th October. If so what is the outcome of the meeting. All CG pensioners are eager to know the news. Kindly post these news.
