TN – One Man Commission 2010

Tamilnadu Government issued Department wise Government Orders as per recommendation of one man commission 2009. Over 2 Lakhs government employees get benefit for this one man commission recommendation.

Dearness Allowance order for Himachal Pradesh State Government Employees w.e.f. 01.01.2010

In continuation of this Department's OM of even number dated the 22nd September, 2009, the Governor, Himachal Pradesh, is pleased to enhance Dearness Allowance from the existing rate of 27% to 35% with effect from 01.01.2010. 2. This additional Dearness Allowance of 8% (8 percent) shall be paid in cash with the salary of August, 2010 payable in the month of September, 2010 and the arrears accrued from 01.01.2010 to 31.07.2010 may be credited in the GPF account of the employees. The interest on this account shall accrue w.e.f. 01.09.2010.

Pension before ONAM to the Central Government Pensioners in the State of Kerala

In continuation of this Office O.M. of even no. dated 5.8.2010 for disbursement of salary/wages of all Central Government employees in the State of Kerala for the month of August, 2010 on 20th August, 2010 on account of ONAM festival , the Government have decided that the pension of all Central Government pensioners in the State of Kerala for the month of August, 2010 may also be disbursed by the Banks/PAOs of Civil Ministries/Departments including Defence, Posts and Telecommunications on 20th August, 2010.

Onam advance to Kerala Government Employees for 2010 – Modified – Orders Issued

In partial modification to the Government Order read above Government are pleased to order that Onam Advance in multiples of Rs. 500/- subject to a maximum of Rs. 7500/- (Rupees Seven thousand and five hundred only) will be paid to all Government employees

8 % DA for Himachal Pradesh Government Employees

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister P.K.Dhurmal announced grant of 8 percent Dearness Allowance (DA) to its employees and pensioners from January, 2010. DA will be given in cash from August, 2010 payable in the salary of September, 2010. The arrears would be credited to GPF accounts of the concerned employees and arrears of pensioners would be given in near future. This would benefit about three lakh employees of the State Government and Public Sector Undertakings and over one lakh pensioners.

Grant of Additional Registered Private Hospitals for Tamil Nadu Government Employees Health Fund Scheme.

In the Government order eighth read above, few more hospitals were additionally accredited under the erstwhile Tamil Nadu Government Employees Health Fund Scheme.

Onam Advance to Kerala Government Employees for 2010

Government are pleased to order that Onam Advance of Rs.7,500/- will be paid to all Government employees. The amount of advance will be recovered in five equal monthly instalments as usual.

Salary before ONAM for all Central Government Employees in the State of Kerala

In view of the "ONAM" festival the Government have decided that the salary of all Central Government Employees in the State of Kerala for the month of August, 2010 may be drawn and disbursed in the Central Government Offices (including Defence, Posts &Telecommunications) on 20th August, 2010.

In the Office Memoranda cited above, Government of India sanctioned revised rate of DA/DR to Central Government employees, Pensioners and family pensioners with effect from 01.01.2010. 2. On the basis of above orders, the rates of Dearness Allowance payable to State Government Employees, Teachers, Staff of Aided Schools, Private Colleges and Polytechnics, Full Time employees borne on the contingent and work charged establishments and employees of Local Bodies will be revised w.e.f. 01.01.2010 as shown below:

UP – 8% hike in DA for Uttar Pradesh Government Employees

The Uttar Pradesh government today announced an eight per cent hike in dearness allowance for its employees from January one this year.This will entail an additional burden of Rs 1635.50 crore on the state exchequer annually, an official release said.
