DA Calculation Sheet: The DA for Central Government Employees was earlier calculated based on the consumer price index with the base year 2001. The Central Government replaced it with a new consumer price index with the base year 2016 to calculate the DA from September 2020.

Because fuel price increase and other prices also DA MAY BE 8%
DA WILL BE 8% EXPECTED
Considering the recent hike in petroleum price, proposed hike in diesel etc. during this month & erosion in Indian money value, the expected D.A. for 1-7-2012 will be not less than 7%
Madan Lal says:
expected DA from July will be 7-8% please enjoy
expected D.A. from july will be 7 to 8%
DA will be 7% w.e.f. July 2012

Well yot will get da for those days and you have to submit supplementary Ta bill for those days and claim the higher da in the supplementary ta bill and da drawn at the older rate. The difference between the higher da and lower da (already claimed) should be clearly mentioned in the ta bill. The difference between the two da will be given to you in any case
1. DA SHOULD NOT BE TAXED: IT IS UNJUSTIFIED TO TAX DA. BY TAXING THE DA, EMPLOYEES ARE DENIED THEIR LEGITIMATE RIGHT TO FIGHT INFLATION AS A PIE IS TAKEN AWAY FROM THEIR PLATE BY INCOME TAX. IT WAS NOT TAXED FOR SIX DECADES, BUT SMART EX FM PC TAXED DA AT HIS OWN WISDOM & NO WHEN RESISTED/CONTESTED.KINDLY DONOT TAX DA.
2.STANDARD DEDUCTION REINTRODUCTION: IT WAS APPLICABLE FOR SIX DECADES BUT WAS TAKEN AWAY BY EX FM PC.IT IS UNJUST AND UNDEMOCRATIC ACT AND SHOULD BE RE-INTRODUCED
3.MERGER OF DA ON ATTAINING DA SLAB OF 50: IT WAS IN 5th CPC, BUT AN OMMISSION HAS TAKEN PLACE & NEEDS CORRECTION. DA IS MOTHER OF ALL ALLOWANCES. AS SERVING PERSONALS OTHER ALLOWANCES HAVE BEEN ENHANCED ON BASIS OF DA AT 50% BY 25% THAN HOW CAN YOU FORGET MERGING DA IN PAY/PENSION AS DP. [BABU FORGOT TO MENTION & CREATED MESS FOR ALL] CASE TO BE TAKEN UP TO CORRECT ANOMALY [NO ONE NOTICED SUCH A GLARING THING]
Please update dacalculation sheet up to april

According the AICPIN index I think DA from 1-7-2012 will be increase by 7-8% i.e. 72-73%. But I wish it will be incrase by 10-15%.
All the best
now month of march,. 2012. There is 68.31% in the month of march, 2012. We have three months remaining and inflation is increase in every week. so it would be reach 72% i.e. 72.25 or 72.35%.
DA would be applicable on 1.7.2012 approximately 6.5% to 7%. It would be 71 or 72% on 1.7.2012
The DA from 1-7-12 will be 5%.
sir,
kindly clarify my doubt regarding da calculations on tours (local or others)
1. i was not granted one increment of Rs. 275/- after the implementation of vth pay commission.
2. i made lot of correspondence with my office and recently it is granted. ofcourse i am yet to get my amount.
3. i went to different tours on official works from my place of duty.
4. whether i will be getting more DA tours for receiving one increment extra which was due for me?
5. i was told that old ta bills will not be opened and processed again.
please clarify.
yours faithfully,
ravi

As the price hike is increasing day by day . The D.A. from 1.7.12 will be 7%.
As per the pattern of AICPIN upto March 2012, the DA from july’2012 seems to be 6%. It would be intresting to watch what will be the WPI-IR for the month of April to June, if AICPIN increases then it is possible to get 7% DA.Let us keep our finger crossed to get 7% DA.
Inflation rises to 7.23% in April, 2012, with prices vegetables, meat, fish & milk shooting up. The Indian money value also eroded. The RBI must reconsider its earlier decision to cut interest rates.
The increase in every month seems to be very low, even though the rate of regular items has been increased drastically
