DA Calculation Sheet: The DA for Central Government Employees was earlier calculated based on the consumer price index with the base year 2001. The Central Government replaced it with a new consumer price index with the base year 2016 to calculate the DA from September 2020.

it is impossible to aicpin to raise 4 points so tnerefore we surely exactly to get 8% da from jan 2013
well friends Da from jan13 will be 8%(80%). If the aicpin for the month of dec12 remain the same or increase upto 221 pointd then also da will be 8%. It will change only when aicpin for the month of dec stands at 222 points then da from jan13 will be 9%(81%).
