DA Calculation Sheet

DA Calculation Sheet: The DA for Central Government Employees was earlier calculated based on the consumer price index with the base year 2001. The Central Government replaced it with a new consumer price index with the base year 2016 to calculate the DA from September 2020.

  3. All India Con Index for Ind Workers for Feb,2013 have been announced. Increase is 2 points. DA rise is not announced for feb. Pl expedite.

  5. Even with no increase in AICPIN for next 4 months i.e. upto June 2013, DA increase shall be 9% thus making total DA as 89%. Assuming normal increase of 1 point every month for 4 months, DA rise shall be 10% thus making total DA wef 01.07.2013 as 90%.
    Therefore, now it is more or less sure that DA wef 01.07.2013 shall be 10%.
    But one thing is also sure that 11% is out of question.

  10. Mr. Raja, in my earlier comments I have given reasonably detailed justification for arriving at my conclusions. In fact position will be more clear when AICPI for Feb. 13 is declared on 28th March.

    All Central Government employees and Pensioners are expecting the announcement of additional Dearness allowance from Union Government.

    Today obliviously, Cabinet will declare the enhancement of the Dearness allowance by 8% from Jan 2013 to all Central Government Staff and Pensioners, unfortunately there is no information about the meeting and the agenda yet..!

    We expect the Union Cabinet meeting will meet in next week, the approval also will get in the next meeting.ON???????????????????????????????????

  18. it is hard to believe that goi decided on 14/3/2013 give da to central govt employees there is no such news revealed by any news papers or media i dont know
