DA Calculation Sheet

DA Calculation Sheet: The DA for Central Government Employees was earlier calculated based on the consumer price index with the base year 2001. The Central Government replaced it with a new consumer price index with the base year 2016 to calculate the DA from September 2020.

  2. DA due for 1st July, 2016 has not been announced yet. Last Year DA enhancement Order issued on 7th September 2015 itself. The Govt. should issue orders early

  3. The govt. machinery is very slow in taking decision. DA should be announced during last week of September. Announcement for implementation of 7th pay commission for employees of autonomous bodies is still pending. Why it’s delayed?

  10. Declaration of da is being delayed, causing lot of dissatisfaction amongst the employees, which is not a healthy sign.

  11. This is the first time that the Government have not announced the DA enhancement due for 1-7-2016 well in time in recent years. When the Govt. announce orders on Allowances including enhancement of DA ?

  12. Mr. Mahalingam Sir, I am Central Autonomous Body employee, when the pay commission issue the order for 7th cpc to CAB employees, During the 6th CPC they issued order within a month, this time till date they are not issued. Kindly clarify in this regard. Please.

In ‘ cgstaffnews.com’ there is news item that there is a proposal to pay DA at 1% from July,2016 as an interim measure, If this is correct the GOI is deliberately inviting trouble and all the staff unions will rise as one man in protest and even may revive the general strike move, which is now suspended.
