DA Calculation Sheet: The DA for Central Government Employees was earlier calculated based on the consumer price index with the base year 2001. The Central Government replaced it with a new consumer price index with the base year 2016 to calculate the DA from September 2020.

How about latest DA entitlement on the basis of CPI-IW for October,2016 ? The web site if Labour Bureau is not responding. Any news on this ?
What happend to 7 cpc benifit to central govt. Funded autonomous institutions and DR topensioners .It already too late. The pensioners are are feeling hardship due to non revision of pension and DR
Please furnish 6th CPC DA calculation sheet this last up dated up to dec.2015 it must be up to oct.2016
As there is no meaning to notify the current d a for govt employees and pensioners . Why there is so much delay. Govt is much Interested in adjustment of vijaymallyas loan account thogh he is defaulter to all the banks of India.
No more new allowances at all till the completion of this govt term.
Mr Name in my reply dt 1/11/2016 I merely obserbed that if an empolyee go on strike (In your word fight/protest etc) what the probable scenario if not majority of working
employee are not choose the path . However in present context a central government empolyee in take amount is much more than any other sector if cosider properly(none govt private sector/Daily wage earner) please think for their cause atleast…
NOTE !!7th Pay Commission Latest News: Report on fatter allowances to get Cabinet nod this month, no hike for central govt …VERY GOOD NEWS
Dear Partha Sarthidas,
Sir, please dont take it as personal…. Leaders mean elected leaders… Fight means protest but not physical….
Just think once sir, if they cannot fight on behalf of employees…, who will do that? if they cant lead, why unions and elections?
Mr Name what type of wake up and fight you advocate now for beneficiaries please think twice if you are single earner and unfortunately get suspension from your competent authority for disobedience. what next to do .I will not be surprised if not get the necessary safeguard from appexcourt.then. So far my own realization you may not get peoples apathy across country
The benefit is more with old basic and old DA formula… This is too sad…
Allowances will be revised whenever DA crosses 50%…..
With this new formula, it takes 15 years to cross DA 50%mark…
So, All allowance will remain like same for next 10 years…
Leaders wake up and fight…
As per latest labour bureau indications, expected d a w.e.f. 1.1.2017 is not below 5
%, if the inflation continues like the same.
Mr maghalingam before writing something you must gothrough the practice of DA calculation first otherwise it may mislead the others ok
Yes. You are right.
Now Cabinet has given 2% DA for CG employees and pensioners on 27-10-2016 and Order may be issued in the first week of Nov.2016.
I would like to bring a point to the readers of this article.
When the govt implemented the 7th cpc, they have merged the DA component of 125% to arrive new basic in 7th CPC , instead of 125.83.
All the CG Employees and CG pensioners, and all the defence personnel and ex-servicemen are most loosers by denying the 0.83% DA component as per 6th CPC.
Govt should give consideration while merging the DA. it was not done during 7th cpc pay fixation. They have recommended merging of DA, as per 7th cpc recommendations, which were prepared a long time before issuing of 7th cpc report.
Atleast, govt should brought this 0.83% after implementation of 7th CPC pay recommendations. It was not done.
Govt has not included the 0.83% DA neither in the 6th CPC , nor in the new DA announced in the 7th CPC..
Overall, employees and pensioners are loosers.
every one should think and act on this.
NOTE PRISC INDEX ALLREADY ==================.2.91.OR ==================.3%
GOVERMENT APPROVED DA FROM JULY 2.% BUT GOVERMENT 1% GOPVINDHA CHITING
Today,27/10/2016 as per the web site of Confederation of cge&w DA at 2% has been sanctioned.
tanwar
delay in annoument on DA from July 2016, Govt has lost its reliability towards CG employees.
NO DA LIFE LONG???Why the DA from July 2016 is not announced yet ?
Why the DA from July 2016 is not announced yet ? All the Central Government Employees wonder why there is so much delay in announcing the DA from July 2016, the first instalment of Dearness Allowance in 7th CPC. The silence of the Federations in the Dearness Allowance issue is not understandable. The way the present Government deal with the issues related to central government Employees is unacceptable. But it seems that the Staff Associations lost its vigour to fight with the…
