DA Calculation Sheet

DA Calculation Sheet: The DA for Central Government Employees was earlier calculated based on the consumer price index with the base year 2001. The Central Government replaced it with a new consumer price index with the base year 2016 to calculate the DA from September 2020.

  6. Wpi for Feb 19 has been announced and it continues to be 307 points.
    For this DA works out to be 13.99.
    Pls confirm.

  17. Happy New year to all friends. Well, this is first time after 01/01/2016(7 th CPC) we are going to get 3 percent DA. From 01/01/2019 DA will cross the 2% Laxman Rekha . I’m sure.

  18. You are Right Satyanarayan ji.DA table ko constant kar rakha hai.yadi December mai index 6 point hike hokar 308 hoga to DA 4℅ hike hoga January 2019 se. Jiske chance Kam hai.yani DA January 2019 Mai 3℅ hi hike hoga.DA Ka base chance hona chahiye tabhi profit hoga.

  19. It is now confirmed that dearness relief is 3% wef Jan 2019. New year greetings to every body ! Let us hope that same trend continues for the next installment also in view of impending general elections.

  20. I suppose that the principle adopted to compute D.A is wrong. Actual price hike and financial burden is no where near the increased D.A. On the record is different from real price hike. So the principle is to be changed. And more than 0.5 should be deemed as 1.
