The DA for Central Government Employees was earlier calculated based on the consumer price index with the base year 2001. The Central Government replaced it with a new consumer price index with the base year 2016 to calculate the DA from September 2020.

How come cpc iw for Jan 2025 is not released as yet. Something fishy must be brewing. Otherwise the figure should have been released promptly on usual date. This gives an indication what would be our fate in the 8th pay commission. Bad luck !

DA for central government employees will be hiking only 2 Percent from January 2025

Unless the government plays negative game, DA is expected to increase by 3% w.e.f. January 2025 even if AICPIN decreases to 143.8 (decreae by 0.7).

These mere changes in D.A. indicates that Govt. is manipulating the data related which decides the inflation.
DA is hiking only 3% from july 2024 as per ICPIN. There is no chances to increase 4%.

Evan though 8th pay commission is not quoted in the budget 24 parliament session, there should be strong pressure from govt and railway servants and it may be expected in september

DA will be hike by only 3%. If cpi index will increase upto 149 then it will cross 54 mark, that not possible so it will be only 3% increase.

Wait for 4% from 1st July 2024 onwards, announces after parliament session and in September/October 24 orders may come.
DA/DR increase will be only 3% based on the current AICPIN change trend and as per the existing DA/DR calculation formulae. There is no basis and no possibility for predicting 4% DA/DR increase so your prediction is totally misleading.

To cross 54% AICPIN for june must be more than 149 which is impossible. Your logic has no basis

Presently DA is 50%. Now it’s May ‘2024. But calculation is locked now. Is there any news of increasing fixed medical allowance for central civil pensioners. Also, news for change of fitment factor. Please, give the reply.
