Dated – 14.10.2016

To,

Shri Arun Jaitley
Hon’ble Finance Minister
Government of India
North Block, Central Secretariat
New Delhi – 110001

Respected Sir,

Sub:- Request for Extension of benefits of 7th Central Pay Commission to employees and pensioners of Autonomous bodies.

This letter is written with the most fervent hope that your good self be condescend to intercede on behalf of the employees and pensioners of Central Government Autonomous bodies.

Every time when the wages of the Central Government employees are revised, the same benefits was extended to the employees and pensioners of Autonomous bodies also. During last wage revision in 2008, the orders extending the benefits was issued within one month from the date of notification of Government implementing 6th CPC recommendations. This time, the orders are yet to be issued. This has caused much anxiety and uncertainty among the employees and pensioners of Autonomous bodies and they are eagerly waiting for the last two months.

I request your kind intervention in this case so that orders will be issued at an early date. Yours faithfully,

(M. Krishnan)
Secretary General

  1. This govt.is placing the cart before the horse. In the name of reviewing & reorganizeing they trying to freeze the pay & pension. I donot under stand the logic of releaseing DA to serving staff and blocking it to pensioners. It must have been other way round.Long live Modi Government.

  2. The Government which could stop even an ad-hoc bonus of lower middle class people, what more we could expect. Will never vote Modi.

  3. Sir,
7 the CPC should be implemented without delay to avoid frustrations among employees and pensioners .
Every media report adds to more frustrations ?

  4. The Hon’able PM and the FM of the country are requested to release benefits of 7th cpc to employees and pensioners of autonomous bodies without further delay like it was done in the past. Why this discrimination?
From :A retired scientist of CSIR – an autonomous body of ministry of science & Technology. They are also entitled like other employees of central and state govts. The delay is causing lot of frustration and depression demoralizing them and badly effecting their state of health.

  5. I am working in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sanagathan which is an autonomous body. Previousely whenever the Pay Commission was implemented right from CPC-I to CPC-6, the same benefit of pay commission was extended to the Autonomous bodies also. But in the case of 7th CPC the BJP Government has told us that the autonomous bodies employees are beggars. If the Govt. does not change its anti-employee attitude, we may change them in the coming assembly election of 5 States.

  6. Dear Friends,
It’s really unfortunate to see the discrimination between the employees of pure central government and central autonomous bodies. Not able to understand the basis of delaying the implementation of 7cpc as well as ad-hoc bonus.

We all should write our grievance on the Public Grievance Portal pgportal.gov.in and various other forums for the justice.

  7. I am quite agree to Sh.Sudarshan Nindrajog. All autonomous bodies pensioners and regular employees should write individually to Hon,ble Prime Minister. May be he is not aware about the situation.

  8. Govt is discriminating the autonomous bodies. Why it has not been extended to autonomous bodies till date. This govt. is always against the givt. Employee. It will be better ,if we all should protest.

  9. Govt. Is committed to the welfare of all civilians including salaried empowers and particularly pensioners retired a decade ago and so any policy of it should be inclusive

  10. Sir,
It appears that GOI is planning something different for autonomous bodies but should come out with that at the earliest

  11. I feel this government is taking good decisions, but lacking proper implementation of the decision taken.

For example; decision to announce the 7th pay in time is good (even though the package is less than expected), but the looking at the way it is being implemented makes us feel frustrated.

similarly demonetization was a good decision, but the prior preparation and subsequent actions seem to be inadequate putting common man in difficulties

I am only hopeful that our government address both issues as early as possible
