The 7th CPC salary is calculated from your basic pay (including grade pay) as of 31.12.2015, then multiplied with a Fitment factor of 2.57. The next step is to go to Pay Matrix Table and select the Level corresponding to Grade Pay. Check the calculator above
What is the Minimum Pay after the 7th CPC?
The minimum pay is Rs18,000 per month
What is Pay Matrix?
7th Pay Commission introduced the pay matrix table to incorporate all these features: subsuming the grade pay, the rationalized matrix presents the whole universe of pay levels in one simple chart.
The levels have been rationalized too, displaying a logical pay progression. Employees would be able to see their pay level, where they fit in, and how they are likely to progress over their career span.

Sir, as on 30.09.2018 I am eligible for Grade Pay of Rs.5400/- Level – 9 earlier my Grade Pay was Rs.4800/- Basic Rs.70,000/- so far my higher basic was not fixed. In case what will be the my basic pay my increment falling due on July.

if husband and wife both are govt. employee and residing in govt. accomdation in same city and dedicting HRA. is one of them is not eligibele to get half HRA allowance? Whenever if they are in private accomdation both r eligible to get full HRA

Husband/wife/son/daughter koi bhi Govt. Servant apne kisi family member ke alloted quarter me rehta hai to woh HRA ke liye eligible nahi hai…Means agar apke quarter me rehte huya apke beta ya beti ko Govt. Job mil jaye aur wo aapke sath hi rahe to unko HRA nahi milega….There is no concept of Half HRA in Central Govt.

Sir My entry pay arrives at 18510 as on 2016 It matches in the pay matrix column under 4800 but my office has fixed me under the 4200 column and gave me L6 status does it correct ?

Put grade pay 1900 in 7th cpc level, 29500 in basic pay and tpta depends on which city u live in.
