Following the official release of the RRB Group D Result 2026 (CEN 08/2024) on July 1st, millions of railway job aspirants across India are now focusing on the next crucial phase of the recruitment process. The initial Computer-Based Test (CBT) results were cleared for publication after the legal dispute regarding Act Apprentice marks in the Telangana High Court was successfully resolved.
With a total of 63,295 candidates officially shortlisted for the next round out of over 1.08 crore test-takers, attention has shifted heavily toward regional cut-off scores and physical exam readiness.
Scorecard Download Window Open Until July 16
Candidates who haven’t yet verified their individual performance still have time to log into the unified digital dashboard (rrb.digialm.com) using their registration credentials. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has clarified that individual scorecards, containing normalized scores and explicit qualification status, will remain accessible online until July 16, 2026 (11:55 PM).
Shortlisted candidates must download and preserve copies of their scorecards, as these will be verified during the subsequent administrative rounds.

The final normalized cut-off thresholds vary significantly across different railway recruitment hubs based on merit and regional vacancies. Below are the official cut-off marks released by the board for key major zones:

What’s Next? Physical Efficiency Test (PET) Requirements
Passing the CBT stage is a provisional step. Shortlisted candidates will soon receive formal e-call letters via their respective regional Railway Recruitment Cells (RRCs) to participate in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), expected to commence in the final weeks of July and August 2026.
The mandatory physical standards required to pass the PET stage are strictly defined as follows:
- Male Candidates:
- Must lift and carry a weight of 35 kg for a distance of 100 meters within 2 minutes in a single attempt without dropping the weight.
- Must run a distance of 1000 meters (1 km) within 4 minutes and 15 seconds.
- Female Candidates:
- Must lift and carry a weight of 20 kg for a distance of 100 meters within 2 minutes without dropping it.
- Must run a distance of 1000 meters (1 km) within 5 minutes and 40 seconds.
Note: Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Course Completed Act Apprentices (CCAA) are legally exempted from the physical efficiency test running metrics.
Candidates are strongly advised to begin physical conditioning immediately and keep all identity and educational documents organized for the subsequent Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination phases.
